Resources to Learn and Develop
Becoming a better self, creating a better life, and contributing to a better world aren’t things we accomplish by finding one solution or completing one program.
Human development is an ongoing search — deeper, wider, and longer than we often realize.
Our resources provide opportunities to explore different parts of that larger process.
Sometimes the next step is understanding something, questioning what no longer fits, letting go, developing a capability, moving in a new direction, or facing ourselves in a new way.
Every mini rebellion moves us forward.
Our resources are designed to support those steps — without pretending that one resource, one method, or one path is right for everyone.
Types of Resources
We’re working on a range of resources to meet a range of needs. They cover different personal growth content that supports becoming better selves, creating better lives and contributing to a better world. They have different depths because sometimes we just need the basics to get started, and sometimes we’re ready to go deeper. There is also a range of prices that help support accessibility.
BLOG (Free)
Posts explore bite-sized topics, provide tips, propose a practice or principle to try out, offer book suggestions, look into sobering statistics for reflection, delve into significant events, share stories and milestones, or present an activity or challenge to take on.
PDFs (Free)
A variety of downloadable information and worksheets on different topics related to becoming better selves, creating better lives, and contributing to a better world. They provide intro level content, understanding, and practices ranging in length from 2-10+ pages.
PDFs EMAIL SIGNUP (Free)

MINI COURSE PDFs ($)
Small downloadable resources designed to provide everything needed to develop one useful skill, take one next step, or solve one specific problem. They are practical, focused and typically take 1-2 hours to complete.
GIFTING COURSES ($-$$)
For some resources, we freely contribute our development and design costs. We sell the resource through a contribution model which is then donated to the SOULCHANGE fund (less administrative costs).
REGULAR COURSE PDFs ($$)
Standalone downloadable resources that cover a topic substantially. They include learning structure, multiple lessons, self-reflection, practice, and integration activities. They typically take 3-6 hours to complete.
GUIDED TRANSFORMATIONAL COURSES (Program $$$)
Comprehensive courses developed with significant expertise to support deeper exploration, practice, and integration over time using a carefully designed guided transformational architecture based on facilitation, therapeutic processes, coaching and adult education and learning science that supports increased capability and autonomy.
Courses includes substantial content and lessons, facilitation support, a structured learning/change process and sequence, as well as various types of practices (reflection, activity, experimentation, integration etc.) Courses typically take 15-20+hours to complete.
Courses include downloadable workbooks and multimedia components (e.g., graphics, video, audio) to support the learning most often without relying on clunky platforms or leaving the user with only summary handouts.
We think anyone that’s engaging in “searching” is a REBEL SOUL.
These resources are meant to support some of the many mini rebellions that go into becoming better selves, creating better lives, and contributing to a better world.
Resources That Make a Difference
There’s been a huge surge in online information and courses over the last few decades. Lots of it is pretty good, some is even great. It’s never been easier to have support at our fingertips.
And then, there’s the over-priced courses, clips explaining how to develop resources near instantly using AI, the collection of information that isn’t all that helpful or only leads you to the next tier of purchasing to get what you actually need, and the platforms with videos but little else by way of methodology or tools that support actual learning and change.
We’ve let our values guide us and really thought about how resources could make a difference.
Development
The Learner Does the Transforming. We respect the learner’s journey and autonomy. Resources provide knowledge, structure, guidance, and practices, as well as opportunities for exploration, reflection, activity and integration. They cannot promise transformation, only to provide the container in which transformation becomes possible.
Learning and Change Science. Resources are informed by what we know about how people learn and change. Information is presented with the intention of supporting actual learning and personal change rather than simply delivering content. They also invite curiosity rather than prescribing certainty and are grounded in evidence, experience, and thoughtful reflection.
Multiple Fields of Thought. We draw from relevant fields rather than limiting a resource to one professional framework or school of thought because useful understanding can come from different disciplines and bodies of knowledge.
Acknowledge Complexity without Becoming Overwhelming. Human experience doesn’t happen in isolation. Resources consider the individual in context of relationships, environments, communities, and larger systems.
Human Developed, AI Assisted. Resources and content are person imagined, mapped, researched, structured, developed, designed, and proofed. AI is sometimes used sparingly to help with initial scoping, feedback and final proofreading.
Design
Designed for Transformation. Resources are developed based on what belongs together to create a useful information, learning or change experience, rather than gathering information into a package. While some of our offerings merely provide information, most often, resources move beyond that because information is not transformation. Transformational learning requires opportunities to work with what you know through reflection, activity, practice, application, and integration.
Active Relational Tone. We use a conversational tone as facilitation and to portray caring, interconnection, support, empowerment, and respect for the capability in others. It also reflects relatability based on our own imperfect journeys and ongoing need for learning, growth and development.
Structured and Supportive Content. Content and learning are intentionally structured through such things as organization, having clear purpose for each page, simplifying, using visuals, staging, scaffolding, chunking, and pacing so that understanding and capacity can develop progressively. Resources are additionally supportive through structured use of aesthetically inviting formatting, white space, large enough and legible fonts, as well as quality graphics and imagery.
Intentional Multi-Media. Multi-media is used to engage different ways of processing and understanding based on Mayer’s Principles of Multimedia Learning. It is used where and when appropriate to enhance the learning and change experience, not because using it will increase the perceived value. Video does not automatically equal higher content quality or better learning.
Purposeful Packaging. We package on purpose, knowing that more content isn’t automatically better. The aim is to provide the right material for its purpose with enough depth to be meaningful without adding material simply to increase perceived value. Nothing is deliberately withheld or divided into multiple products simply to create more things to sell.
Delivery
Resources You Can Keep. We aim to give you substantial resources that you can download, keep and return to, rather than relying primarily on platform-based access. Multimedia and interactive elements are most often linked from within the document and used to enhance the resource where they can support learning—not to make the content inaccessible without a platform.
Choose What Fits. You can take what is useful to you, when it is useful to you. There is no expectation that everyone needs the same resources or follows the same path.
Frictionless Access. Resources should be straightforward to find, understand, purchase and access. We aim to remove unnecessary steps, complicated systems and barriers between you and the resource you’ve chosen. We’ve thought about the understandable platform fatigue and are trying to move in a different direction.
Selling
Fair Pricing. We don’t price based on what the market will bear or what a transformation is likely worth. Our pricing considers four things: a) the substance, developmental, design and implementation costs of the offering; b) affordability and accessibility for the purchaser; c) the overall sustainability of SOULCHANGE; and d) giving forward toward a better world.
Need Based, Rather than Seller Defined. You don’t have to buy one resource before accessing another, move through a prescribed product ladder, or purchase increasingly expensive levels to get what you need. The purpose of different offerings is to meet different needs not to create artificial tiers that encourage customers to keep purchasing.
No Overpromising. No resource or course, no matter how good, can solve everything that we might be struggling with or want to accomplish. It has a scope of learning or change it is developed and designed to support. We’ve designed intentionally and we’re careful with our words and with the learning outcomes we use to define what a resource can support.
No Manufactured Scarcity. We don’t use countdown timers, artificial limited availability, or pressure to have anyone purchase before an arbitrary deadline. We believe when you’re ready, and it’s the right time, you’ll access the resources to best support you. Having said that, we do offer introductory pricing to invite people to take that initial risk with a new course, and occasional sales pricing to show some customer appreciation.
No Pressure Based Selling. You won’t be pushed through urgency tactics, repeated upselling, or messaging designed to make you feel like you’re falling behind if you don’t buy.
